Monarch Hills’ program year begins August 19th and ends May 30th. Monday-Thursday we are on site and open from 8:30-2:30 for enrichment families, and 8:30-3:30 for full time families. We also offer extended day options for families registered in our after care program. Extended day ends at 5:30.

We are offsite every Friday at different locations around SLO. Children are to be dropped off and picked up at locations to be determined in the days leading up to Friday. Drop off time is 8:30 and pick up is 2:30.

The California Homeschool Regulations require 175 days of attendance per calendar school year. Because our outdoor farm life may result in surprise closures, we have padded our yearly schedule to cover 183 program days.

Make up policy: Enrichment families may request make-up days to replace scheduled and unscheduled single day closures within a month of a missed day. Make up days must be approved in advance by an educator.
